MSN releases a beta NewsBot

Microsoft unveiled yet another pice of the puzzle in it's upcoming war with Google over search, Newsbot. It's like Google News and gets stories from 4800 english news sources. It's nice to see that there will be competition. Google hasn't said much in response. Maybe it's because they know that they are far ahead right now in the search game against Microsoft. But you can see Bill Gates and company have there eyes set on becoming dominant in search just as they found their way to be dominant in other forms of software. At the end od the tunnel is the holy grail of search which is PC, network and internet search all from the desktop.  Everybody wants to get a slice of the pie on that one. The security issue worries me a bit. They will know way too much about us all. The Newsbot beta will be up for a period of type like the beta search to get feedback and then it will crawl back into it's cave to come out later as another Microsoft Monster. Oooh!
