A break...refreshment...now back for more.

Like most people, I get a little burned out. When I get in this toasty mode, I know that it's time to take a break. For a while, I've taken a break from writing in this blog on web marketing. It's not because I'm not interested anymore, I am. No one finds web marketing more fascinating than I do. The behaviors of people, how they buy, how they search for things is as much an art as it is a science. I would go even further and tell you that it is an art because you're dealing with the emotions of people. And if there's anything we should keep in mind is that marketing is about the emotional aspects of buying. Remember, people buy with emotion and back it up with logic. Rarely is a sale made purely on logical reasons. That's why it unpredictable and all you can do is put forward your best effort in dealing with people on a gut level.

It's great to be back and talk about web marketing. It's what I do on a daily basis and there is nothing more satisfying than coming up with a good plan for success. There are so many successful businesses on the web that are from Minnesota, some of the most successful ever online. It's not necessarily that they are from here, but this midwest work ethic has paid off for many companies here. I like to profile companies that use the web for their advantage. If you have any ideas for a company to feature here, then please let me know.
