Browster, a browsing aid that could change things.

From MarketWatch.com there is a reference to a new browsing aid that is coming onto the market called Browster. It's an application that will allow people to see a preview pane of what's behind a link. So if you pass over a link, you can see a preview without actually having to go to that site or page. It could be great for surfers and good for advertisers as people may not have to click on something to see if it's what they want. This software isn't out yet, I couldn't even find a website for it yet! But supposedly it's something that search engines aren't going to like because if ads aren't clicked, then there is no revenue generated. This is the kind of thing I've been talking about for some time that new wrinkles in technology will loosen a tight grip that search engines have right now.

I'm excited to hear and experience this software and if anyone has any link or information on it, I would like to know. As a casual web surfer at times, it would be nice to not have to go to the site, just get a preview to see if it's even close to what you're interested in. Can't wait for this one!
